IMVARIA is a startup company that utilizes AI for the interpretation of medical imaging and the analysis of clinical data, with a primary focus on areas such as the lungs, liver, kidneys, and cancer.
Founder Joshua Reicher previously worked in Google's artificial intelligence team and has published numerous papers in the field of medical machine learning. He possesses extensive coding experience and is also a clinical instructor in radiology at Stanford University.
Their developed product, Fibresolve, utilizes AI to analyze CT imaging, enabling clinical doctors to make accurate diagnoses and prognoses in the early stages of diseases, thus reducing the need for invasive diagnostic tests.
Currently, Fibresolve has received the "Breakthrough Device Designation" from the U.S. FDA and is available for research use only. However, it has reached the endpoint of clinical research and has increased the non-invasive diagnostic rate for challenging cases by 3.2 times.
