本團隊血液螢光監測技術可即時、連續與免試劑檢測敗血症情形，且已經在pilot study中初步驗證在敗血症病患中治療前後的變化，並也針對敗血症中最難監測的腸缺血完成動物模型測試，可望藉由更多經費資源的支持進行更全面的人體試驗，完成不同參數的測試，有效協助敗血症療效診斷和相關器官衰竭評估，並在器官損傷（例如AKI）發生時隨時調整藥物並給予適當的醫療介入。
