Luminopia uses a new virtual reality device to treat children with amblyopia. It is used in conjunction with VR headsets through programs. The device has been clinically tested in 20 hospitals across the United States to provide an alternative to amblyopia treatment for both eyes. Unlike other devices that allow children to play Tetris games, Luminopia's devices allow children to watch their favorite TV shows or other video content and still enjoy the benefits of treatment.
