"Rare Cell Expansion”(RCE) is a single cell amplification technology developed by Dr. Ying-Chih Chang’s research group and is expected to be commercialized.
RCE is a clinically proven technology, capable of generating 3D organoids from the clinical specimens including immortalized cell lines, stem cells, tissue biopsies, and blood-based circulating cells.
Not only being easy to operate and cost effective, it outperforms the existing 3D culture technologies in both yields and culture time. RCE technology introduces a perfect replacement of the unrealistic 2D cell culture and animal models, as the most reliable in- vitro sample sources for personalized medicines.
