The COVID-19 pandemic has caused a great impact on the global economy, and of course threatened the survival of the startups, especially on the fundraising. In this 4/29 9:00-10:00(Taiwan time) webinar, the Silicon Valley genius David Hornik will share “Funding during the COVID-19 Crisis,” including the overall idea of how to adapt your business at the moment, and his experiences in mentoring the startups to success even in the 2000 .com bubble & 2008 financial crisis. Also, David will also share his insights on how to prepare for the post-COVID-19 market. Don’t miss it!

【About the Speaker】
David Hornik is a General Partner at August Capital where he invests in consumer and enterprise software and services. He has worked closely with startups for the last 20 years. David holds an AB in Computer Music from Stanford, an M.Phil in Criminology from Cambridge University, and a JD from Harvard Law School. David teaches entrepreneurship and venture capital at Harvard Law School and at Stanford Business School.

David Hornik現任矽谷August Capital的General Partner，並在Harvard Law School及Stanford Business School教授創業課程。
過去曾經從事法律訴訟與智財律師，大學在Stanford University修習Computer Music, 碩士轉戰Cambridge University的犯罪學，博士則又跳脫框架進入Harvard Law School，豐富的學經歷讓他在投入新創投資和輔導時更能跳脫框架和有更寬闊的思考觀點。
已經投入新創圈20年的David輔導了許多新創成功走向IPO及併購，是一位新科技的嘗鮮者，也是一位謙卑的觀點分享者!
