創業不易，帶著性別的各種標籤在科技業闖蕩的女性則更為艱難。女性在創業與就業的過程中經常面臨著更為複雜的現實困境與取捨。女性在各大小科技公司中爭取升遷時，也時常遇到玻璃天花板與職場潛在歧視困境。許多研究顯示女性離開科技業多數並非因為不喜歡鑽研科技，而是因不滿不平等的薪資和升遷機會，無法忍受在不平等的職場環境下工作。
本次創業小聚Meet Global線上對談邀請國科會許增如處長、史丹福大學教授、微軟首席研發總監等五位科技創業圈女性領袖，來聊聊他們如何運用女性獨有的堅韌力量走過路程中的關卡，繼續往更大的目標前進能堅持下去，並站上世界舞台。希望讓社會看到女性對科技產業的貢獻，同時激勵更多女性投入，找到讓自己發光的舞台，成為改變台灣科技業的關鍵力量。
Gender equality is not only a fundamental human right, but a necessary foundation for a peaceful, prosperous and sustainable world. Although gender gaps in the labor force still persist across all regions, according to the The Sustainable Development Goals Report 2022 from the United Nations, there has been progressing over the last decades. Forbes also stated that the Women’s Entrepreneurship Report found that one in three innovation-driven entrepreneurs is female.
This time, Meet Global invited five role model speakers in the tech and startup areas to share their own stories and the obstacles they faced. Reveal the full potential of girls to shape the future of society and create social awareness on gender equality.
